| am wondering if there is any more BHS member’s out-there – age is not a consideration - who would also enjoy helping out with some of the events for this year. It is most rewarding and as the old saying goes ‘ Many Hands Make Light Work’. Its great to take part in the events but it is also fun to see others enjoying themselves following your own small effort as part of one great Team. Perhaps we ought to change the name from Committee to Team If you feel you could contribute in anyway however small to one or more of the events and would like more information please contact Ruth Court or myself. Finally, looking forward to meeting you all, working with you and enjoying the various events listed in our latest News Letter.. |

| Having loved horses all my life I am lucky to incorporate my job with my main interest as I am a Lecturer in Equine Studies at Moulton College, Northampton. I have been a member of the BHS for 20 years and am a BHS II. I am also on the Northamptonshire County Committee. After equine welfare, my main interest is Dressage and I judge at local events. I am currently working towards becoming a listed judge and a BHS Riding and Road Safety Test Examiner. Away from horses I do a bit of running and last year raised over £1000 for equine welfare by running 2 marathons. | ||||

| I rode horses as a teenagerand then had no contact with horses until my children wanted to ride.We bought our first pony when my son was 10 yrs old I had not riden for 25yrs. Our first pony was an apalloosa and we were hooked.The boys have flown the nest but I still have 2 apalloosas 1 mare Rosie and her son Griff. We are all semi retired and just happy hackers hence my interest in access. |
